| RECOMENDATION FOR PACKING A LAPTOP FOR RETURN |
STEP 1 |
Try to remember how it was originally packed. If you can, try to remember how your laptop arrived (if delivered) and how it was packaged. |
STEP 2 |
Pack it the way it arrived. If you still have the box that it came in, put everything back the same the way that it arrived originally. |
STEP 3 |
Find or buy a box large enough for the laptop to fit in, along with packing materials. |
STEP 4
|
Purchase anti-static packing materials to ensure that the laptop will be stable during shipment and will not be damaged by static discharge in transit. |
STEP 5 |
Print a label online using our RMA Portal rma.custompc.ie |
| TIPS |
- Shake the box slightly while adding packing material to ensure the laptop moves slightly or not at all. The less movement, the less chance of the laptop experiencing shock to its internal mechanisms.
- Take your time when packing the laptop to ensure proper packaging.
- Never ship a laptop or tablet in a carry case as these provide no protection.
